Clinic escorting comes with an assumed natural risk and can be a dangerous and difficult role. We are often outdoors in extreme weather, dealing with unpredictable individuals, exposure to vicarious trauma, physical and verbal threats from protesters and passers by, and is not for everyone. There is a lot to consider when putting our bodies outside of clinics. Have you thought about this? How do you think you'd respond in a life threatening emergency (be honest with yourself and us), and is this something you are comfortable with?
